Up by Hilary Tindle | Editor

I had the pleasure and honor of collaborating with Hilary Tindle, MD on her first book, Up, about the link between aging, health and outlook. I helped her craft a proposal, and after the proposal sold, I assisted her in mapping out, writing and editing the chapters. The book was published in 2013 to very positive reviews from Publisher's Weekly, The New York Times and Kirkus Review, among others.

In 2017 and 2018 I collaborated with a high-level U.S. diplomat on a book about the importance of protocol and diplomacy in government, business and everyday life. The book is equal parts memoir, instructional tome and insider-y political thriller. It was published in 2020 in hardcover by HarperCollins and in paperback in 2021. It was called "fascinating," "informative" and "charming" by Kirkus Reviews and featured as a New York Times "New and Noteworthy" selection.

In 2021 I collaborated with a prominent Black female activist on a book about the intersection of race, feminism and womanhood. The author, who has been featured in the Washington Post, The New Yorker and New York Magazine, is also a businesswoman and public academic and runs a nonprofit foundation. The book is scheduled to be published by Dial Press in early 2023.

I conceived, researched and wrote this National Geographic single-topic magazine on the science of memory — how it works, changes to expect from cradle to grave and what we can do to safeguard and enhance it. I interviewed dozens of top neuroscientists and translated complex material into relatable and useable advice. The 110-page book-azine was sold on newsstands from fall 2020 through spring 2021 in outlets such as Whole Foods, Walmart and drugstore chains.

Sold on newsstands nationwide, the 130-page special issue was a top seller in the wellness space.
