Up by Hilary Tindle | Editor
I had the pleasure and honor of collaborating with Hilary Tindle, MD on her first book, Up, about the link between aging, health and outlook. I helped her craft a proposal, and after the proposal sold, I assisted her in mapping out, writing and editing the chapters. The book was published in 2013 to very positive reviews from Publisher's Weekly, The New York Times and Kirkus Review, among others.
Untitled | Ghostwriter
Since 2017 I have been collaborating with a high-level U.S. diplomat on a book about the importance of protocol and diplomacy in government, business and everyday life. The book is equal parts memoir, instructional tome and insider-y political thriller. Scheduled for publication in the summer of 2020, it will be published in several languages.
Your Emotions | Writer
I researched and wrote this National Geographic single-topic magazine on the science of human emotions — the good, the dark, the wondrous and the mysterious. On newsstands from January 2020 to April 2020, the 110-page book-azine gives readers an easy-to-digest overview of emotion theory and cutting-edge neuroscience, revealing the surprising ways emotion and reason work together.
SELF Slim Down Fast Guide | Editor
For this 2014 diet and exercise guide, I worked with SELF's art director and editor in chief to compile a collection of SELF's greatest hits over the years — top articles on healthy diet plans, delicious and nutrition recipes and strengthening fitness routines, all science-backed, sane and effective. Sold on newsstands nationwide, the 130-page special issue was a top seller in the wellness space.
